What Makes Me What I am Today ???

Firstly, my best friend makes me what I am today. She makes me to be strong and not a weal creature in the eyes of a guy. How she does that? It just change myself into a stronger teenage when she told me what had happen between she and her ex-boyfriend. She have gave all she had to a guy whom she respect and love. She even ignored her family and friends just for that paticular guy. In return, that guy was trying to fool her. Betrayed her and went to other girls to seek love and attention blaming my friend not giving him all that he wanted. She cried when she told me this story, as a friend that have been together with her for nine years and still counting our friendship, i cried too. Started from that day I realise that guys nowadays are just simply a sweet talker who would say they love you but with a cross-finger. I learnt to uphold my dignity as a woman and would only respect and love a guy who is sincere enough and respectful.

Secondly, failure makes what I am today. Last year I fail my secondary three end of year exam and I've got to retain another year of secondary three. I just did not think of my future when I was fifteen. What I think was just to stay at home, sleep, chat and no more homework. I just could not think of what is it going to be like to survive in Singapore without any high education. When I got to know that I have to go through back all my secondary three syllabus by retaining I was ashamed and regret on my recklessness. As I enter the year on 2010 and start to get back to school I just think of one thing and that is to STUDY. I would make my parents proud to see that I can make it. Now I take this oppurtunity to restart back my secondary three as a positive thing as I could learn back what I have already learnt. I believe in myself that I would take this oppurtunity for granted."Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently." Henry Ford

Thirdly, my mom have make what I am today. She is the one whom I would share my problems with. She understand me and she does not treat me like a daughter but like a friend. She makes me so comfortable talking about school, friends and also about relationship. She would always share with me her life in her teenage years. She had drop out from school when she was in secondary two as she was not able to pay for her school fees. She have to work and gain income for my grandmother. She work for factories as she was not well educated. That really open my eyes that without education you would not survive in this country. So that determine me to be someone successful and change my life to a brighter new life. So that is why she is the reason of being someone that makes my life now.
